TRENBERTH Monthly mask: Land/Sea/Ice Mask: 0-sea, 1-land, 2-ice data

TRENBERTH Monthly Land/Sea/Ice Mask: 0-sea, 1-land, 2-ice: land determination based on ETOPO5 elevation values at 1/12 deg resolution. Legend: 1-LAND ie. at least 75% of region is land even if grid point is ocean 0-SEA ie. less than 25% of region is land even if grid point is land 2-SEAICE as inferred from the Alexander-Mobley SST climatology where SST < -2.0 Celsius for the month.

Filters

Here are some filters that are useful for manipulating data. There are actually many more available, but they have to be entered manually. See Ingrid Function Documentation for more information. Average over X Y T | X Y X T Y T | X Y T |
RMS (root mean square with mean *not* removed) over X Y T | X Y X T Y T | X Y T |
RMSA (root mean square with mean removed) over X Y T | X Y X T Y T | X Y T |
Maximum over X Y T | X Y X T Y T | X Y T |
