UNAM Monthly Precipitation and Maximum and Minimum Temperature Analyses for Mexico and Surroundings

This monthly gridded precipitation data set is from the Centro de Ciencias de la Atmósfera (CCA) at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).

Data source: The analysis was based on daily station precipitation, maximum and
minimum temperature data from CLICOM (for Mexico area), and monthly
data from the Global Historical Climatology Network (GHCN) version 2
(for the rest of the region). Climate Research Unit (CRU) monthly
gridded precipitation and maximum and minimum temperature data sets
were used as the 'first guess' for the Cressman objective analysis.
